The man cave addition

I'm BACK!!! Thanks to mom, I am now blogging again. My USB camera chord "mysteriously" ended up in mom's camera bag... Shauna's late night organization skills....so with an efficient mother and the US mail service, I can now post these old pictures of Arlen working on his addition. This was before Kevin got here...almost a month ago now. This was the day Arlen taught me how to use the hand saw, the table saw, the gas powered hammer, etc....don't forget it was 19 degrees outside the whole day. (I really love my brother, in case he was confused about that....that settled it.) So, this was in the framing stages. They had already graded, leveled the ground and poured cement to stabalize the main posts. I didn't get a really good "final" picture, but you can sort of see it in the snow picture....just in time. He stores his boats, lawn mower, etc. under there, instead of under 2 feet of snow.

gotta love 'em

Ramey family shots...Kevin was introduced to the chaos..he fit right in.

Kevin and the girls

Every time I turned around, he was hauling Paige around! and the gifts he brought for the girls were a huge hit!! They bug me every day to make a calender with them. They loved the hats and they love Kevin! Or Uncle Abe....or future uncle...depending on their mood. Sometimes I would drag the girls off so I had room to sit by Kevin once in awhile....=) Fun to see him with the girls

Ryann turns 10!

Even though Jessi ended up in the hospital on this morning....the party went great! All of Ryann's friends came and they ran around and wrecked havoc....she got lots of presents and had ice cream cake. Mom and Dad and Kevin and I got to chaperone=)

My Kevin

Isn't he great?

a new development

Isn't it beautiful?! Ok...the first thing you will hear if you ask is that I didn't get it....yes, he proposed to me, down on one knee in the middle of the Columbus airport lobby. He handed me a house key attached to a key ring....I said, thanks and put it in my pocket. Then he got down on one knee and proposed to me and I was completely taken by surprise..WHAT? Kevin proposing in front of all these people right here, right now?? I started shaking...I DID kiss him and tell him of course I would marry him. Then he had to get up and dig the ring out of my pocket...it was very romantic, to attach a house key to the engagement ring, and I didn't get it...ruined his romantic moment. BUT it did turn out to be hilarious and I had NO idea he was getting me a ring. But, its official...I am wearing the ring at this moment. It is beautiful....simple, just like he knew I would like it....white gold with diamonds inset. I had no idea a ring was important, but I love the symbol of it.
