Getting Acquainted

There's still some jealousy brewing with our first child. Emma doesn't seem to be too fussed about it. I think she's taunting the poor dog. All of those interesting new smells and Scout's not allowed to get too close. Very perturbing.

Evidently there are other things going on in the world. It's quite exciting that our lilacs decided to bloom this year.

An evening trip to Cauldron Linn.

Momma's with us 'til Saturday. Then we fly solo for a couple weeks until Parma. Shauna's mom will spend some time here after that. It's good to have someone in the house who has some experience in this crazy thing called motherhood. And with three sets of hands your odds of being on the wrong end of a poopy diaper are greatly reduced!

  1. My goodness, she's awfully cute! We knew she would be, but the evidence is here and we were right! :) I wouldn't blame you if you didn't notice anything else going on in the world. Seems you've caught the disease all parents catch at the hospital. It's the one that makes you believe you just lucked out getting the best and cutest baby ever. You'll never be cured and you won't mind one bit.:)
